SEASONS GREETINGS 2006 FROM THE MOUSE OF COMMONS!!!!

Hello and HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

Well, in the picture above you can see my niece, Alena - just before her first birthday, making her first encounter with the Mouse of Commons. Well, sort of... Actually, it's a wooden Mouse I purchased in Prague!!! Note: The Charlie Grrr bib! Very stylish ey!?

I thought I'd just update you on what's being written and how things are developing. There are a lot of plans for new novellas and collections of short stories - but these are the four books currently in production.

MOUSE TALES & MICE TAILS

This will be the next book out, hopefully by the spring. Lisa is busy proof reading it now and is currently half way through the 2nd of the five stories. More details on this one when it's done, of course.

GLADSTONE MCWHISKERS AND THE MOUSES OF PARLIAMENT

I'm currently almost half way through final re-writing on this one and it'll be the next one to go to Lisa - I imagine this one will be out by the early summer.

GLADSTONE MCWHISKERS AND THE BEARGRRRIAN DILEMMA

This is the one I'm writing at the moment. I'm currently writing Chapter 7 of 16. This one should be especially nice as not only is it set in London, Paris, Rome and Beargrrria!!! but there are also lots of photos from my trips to illustrate the adventures. There's still a lot more to be done on this - but I suppose it'll be out by the autumn!! Blimey - that sounds a long way away...

THE FURTHER SQUEAKS OF GLADSTONE MCWHISKERS...

Another book of short stories. There are seven short stories in this collection and all but one of them is now completed, at least they exist hand written in note books! I'm currently typing the 2nd of these new stories and writing the final one; THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF MOUSE STUDIES at the moment. Depending on which is finished first this will probably come out around the same time as THE BEARGRRRIAN DILEMMA, sometime in the autumn.

Anyway! That's all for now!! Thanks for all the support in 2006!!! See you in 2007!!

Mouse of Commonsy hugs,

Paul xx
