NEW BOOK OUT FRIDAY AUGUST 11TH

Hi,

The new MOUSE OF COMMONS book is out soon!! The above shot is it's cover!!!

Yes, sure enough - MOUSE IN A BOTTLE is due to be launched with a small party in London's West End on Friday 11th August. The book will retail at a price of £8.50 and it's available from http://www.lulu.com/. It'll be available to pre-order from approximately Wednesday 9th August and I'll post the exact link nearer the time.

Many thanks to my good friend, Lisa Parker who has been busy giving the book one final proof read before the launch! She's done a really great job! Thanks again, Lisa!!

The Lulu blurb reads as follows:

"This is the second Mouse of Commons novel, which features Gladstone McWhiskers - The Mouse of Commons and his assistants Ollie Louse and Bell. It was originally written at the same time as the first novel, back in 2000, but was then lost for 5 years. Here it has been unearthed, proudly dusted off and presented for your delictation! :-) MOUSE IN A BOTTLE tells the tale of a mysterious blue bottle in an antique shop - a small boy possessed by an evil spirit - an fiendish nemesis from the dim and distant past and a threat that could wipe out Gladstone McWhiskers, the current Mouse of Commons - once and for all..."

The picture above is from a recent promotional visit to London Zoo on Wednesday 26th July - but sadly no mice could be located.

Other News: The final rewrites on MOUSE IN BEAR'S CLOTHING are currently about half way through, before a draft copy will be passed to Lisa for her final read-through. I'm am hoping that we can aim for a release date of approximately Saturday 23rd September 2006 - which is also the 14th anniversary of Sutton Park. MOUSE TALES AND MICE TAILS is currently scheduled for Friday 10th November 2006 - which also happens to be Shy Yeti's birthday. Finally, I am also approximately a third of the way through the latest Mouse novel: GLADSTONE MCWHISKERS AND THE MOUSES OF PARLIAMENT, which is expected to be ready by the new year.

Hopefully I'll post again during the week of the book's launch. :-)

Have fun!

Paul x
